Rachel Bailit’s stage experience includes a five year run of a one-woman show“Sugar Happens”

in Los Angeles and Off-Broadway. It was directed and produced by David Lee Strasberg, and a later version

directed by Phil Ramuno. Emmy winning writer Sherry Coben based the dramedy on Rachel’s life.

Rachel performed and filmed the show twice at the Comedy Central Stage at The Hudson Theater.

 

Recently, Rachel performed in the premiere production of “In The Mood”

written by Stephen Fife at The Ark Theater in Burbank. She played the role of Janette in “My Dinner with Trixie”

The play was directed by Dawn Simmons and written by Janice Pryor.

It was performed at the Cambridge Multi-Cultural Center.

 

Rachel starred in the premiere of William Threadgold's play "Men",Women, Doppler Radar" at

The Promenade Playhouse in Santa Monica.

Rachel performed in a stage reading of Drew Katzman’s new play “Where’s Andy” in New York and in LA at Theater West.

 

Rachel is a member of The Classical Theater Lab in Los Angeles, she appeared in the following productions:

Thomas Heywood’s “A Woman Killed Kindness”, William Shakespeare’s “Henry IV”,

and Oscar Wilde’s “A Woman of No Importance”.

 

In addition, Rachel played “Mistress Ford” in William Shakespeare’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor” directed by Elizabeth Huffman, and Clifford Odets’ “Paradise Lost” in which she played the role of “Libby”, directed by Hedy Sontag

at The The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute.

Rachel assumed the role of April in John Patrick Shanleys’ “Savage in Limbo” directed by Tom Badal

at The Marilyn Monroe Theater at Strasberg.
